Note 11 - Thoughts and Opinions of Others

What they think about you doesn't matter. Their reaction to you is -their- manifestation. It's for them to deal with. What this translates to for -you- is that you never have to worry about what any of it means to them. The mental chess game of how to 'make them like you/understand you' is unnecessary. You can check in with them if you feel inspired to in the moment, but worrying over it before or after the fact? Never necessary.

The following was obtained after re-reading the above passage:

What if it's someone you don't want to hurt (emotionally or physically)?

Staying connected to who you truly are - keeping your attention toward that inner awareness/allowing yourself to be in the frequency of your 'home' self, whether incorporating in your desire frequencies or not, will make it so that hurting them isn't an option in the first place. That innate desire not to hurt them is already built in. It's already a desired frequency.

And if they react negatively and, in turn, harm me? (Crucifixion of Christ?)

...It's possible. All things are an option. What is your focus? Where are you putting your attention? Or are you allowing something else to put your attention somewhere for you?

In terms of Christ's Crucifixion: This is a case of trying to figure out someone else's frequency. It can be a useful tool, trying to figure these things out, but unless you can feel it from inside the other person's perspective, literally, then you can't really identify what their frequency was or where their focus was. So, in terms of the crucifixion, how do you know if Jesus had a wobble or not? You do not know every minute of the man's life and experience, moment to moment, day by day. You do not know where his frequency was, nor where his focus was. You know the stories told of what he said and did, by what -other- people wrote down of him. We don't have a journal dictating his innermost thoughts or practices, nor the details of his daily life. So...how are we to judge what we do against that?

There is a high amount of anxiety and fear around being hurt for being yourself. This is understandable. Many times paths were chosen that resulted in pain and/or death. The witch hunts are brought to mind. The concentration camps are brought to mind.

So many horrors wrought by man's hand. Human's hand. All life forms in the process of evolving suffer. Think of it as a sort of grand scale version of the toddler learning to walk. They fall down sometimes. Sometimes they fall pretty hard. It hurts. In that respect, the species is/was a little bit of a toddler. The species is growing out of that. This is why you hear it is safer to be who you truly are. The consciousness has evolved enough that there is less danger of losing your footing and falling. You, as a species, are better able to control your focus on a collective level. This makes it so that, on the individual level, there is less danger of persecution for being different.

With the collective more focused on who it truly is, there is less disparity in the separation. Those that vehemently disagree are fewer in number. The extremity of the disagreement is less. Your collective is moving toward unity. You can always have multiple perspectives and individuality, but the level of peace and prosperity for all is that much greater. Not right this moment, perhaps, but that is the frequency of what is being moved toward.

There are still, as of this writing, those perspectives who are entrenched in the fear-based perspectives. Those who fear letting go of trying to control others because they believe it means their annihilation on some level. Whether it's the fear of an institution falling (government, religion), or the fear of not being able to control their individual reality. The fear stems from, ultimately, a feeling of powerlessness. Feeling as though they/you have to control outer things in order to be safe or to have what is wanted.
