Note 18 - Thoughts, Ego, Choosing Frequency

Thoughts are wonderful. the ego is amazingly helpful. every thought that comes to mind is a message. Nevermind what the words or vision of the thought was. Look at what emotion is tied to it. That emotion is the frequency of that thought. If you don't like how that frequency feels, you get to choose a different frequency. this is where focus comes in. this is where detachment from the 'reality' in front of you comes in.

watch your thoughts. notice if any of them grab your attention with an emotion. most of the time it might be a subtle emotion. depending on how much you try to get away from your own mind, the stronger those emotions might be sometimes. some people can't stand to be alone. they need a constant distraction for fear they'll hear thier own thoughts and have to face that fear of them. many more have already overcome that fear enough to start noticing how they feel when they think certain things.

most of the time they notice the emotion and label the thought itself as good or bad. it's not. the thought itself, the vision or words or even the concept of it, really, isn't good or bad. It's a variety of wanted or unwanted. you could choose either. neither is better or worse than the other except in your own personal preference.

the only time this ever really becomes troublesome, is when we start to try to choose the frequencies for others. offer your perspective as a choice to them. your frequency preference is an option they might not have thought of. they may even use their free will to say they want both! or many options rolled into one! That's when the creativity of the universe gets a juice. something new! Something to delight the moment!

Such a wonderful feeling, to flex that creative muscle. creation is truly marvelous. not just what has already been created, but what is being created this moment, as every moment ticks into the next. the sound of a watch's gears softly clicking, ticking, speaking the seconds by, such a marvelous creation.

in that light, look at those thoughts in love, noticing the options available to you. The bounty of choice all around you. every single thing you look at has a frequency. Do you like it? Choose that frequency. Do you like it, but feel a funny pang for liking it? A weird tightness? It might happen so fast that you don't even notice. Look at anything that doesn't feel good to you and ask yourself, what is it about this thing that makes me not prefer it? Why do I not want this?

It's okay to not want it. It is so very okay not to want that thing. Just ask yourself WHY you don't want it. Knowing that answer is what embeds the free choice of it in your mind. This is choosing your reality. This is re-teaching your auto-pilot programs to choose different options. Options that guide you on to what you want. The frequencies you want.

Nevermind what they look like. You can get so specific with the frequencies that you literally can have anything. And no, it's not about belief. It's choice. It's noticing the thought your having, looking at the emotion attached to it, and asking yourself: Do I want this? Do I want what's being offered to me? Do I like this perspective? Why? Do I not like it? Why? Ask yourself with true curiosity. Be open to what thought might occur to you next.

And then repeat the process. If a thought comes up - any thought at all - see how it feels. See whether you like it or not. Do you? Why? No? Why not? If you don't know why, or why not, consider whether or not you want to keep or adopt the idea that presented that frequency. This is challenging and re-writing belief structures.
