Note 8 - How to Get Centered

How to get 'centered': Focus on awareness. Notice that you're aware of your surroundings. That awareness is your center. This is also being 'at zero', in ho'oponopono terms.

This is also 'being the observer'. Also 'God'. Also, Source. Also all that is. Everything and nothing. Also, Inner Being.

Notice that what you're aware of, when you turn your awareness -to- that awareness, is what you really are. Not the thoughts that float (or zoom) by, not the emotions you feel. If you can be aware of something, you can't truly be that thing. Even turning your attention to that inner awareness, noticing the awareness that observes the thoughts, emotions, body and outter world, can't be fully comprehended, in a way. You can turn your attention to that inner awareness and all thoughts and sensations start to melt away. It's not a space that can really be described - in that space, you simply...-are-. -That-, is you.

You are the universe knowing itself. Your current existence/expression is one perspective of a multitude. One way of seeing the whole. Turning your attention -away- from the things you have identified with - the thoughts, the emotions, your body, the outter world (hologram) around you allows you to better see and feel the whole. To see other perspectives.

meditation is useful for many reason. turning your attention to that within space, to that inner awareness - disengaging from your attachment to the thoughts/emotions/etc - is practice. it is a first step in regaining control over your ability to focus. it's a first step in allowing things to be less 'important', meaning they have less influence over how you feel. they can be things you value and prioritize, but when they are things that sway how you feel, then you have lost some of your ability to focus. Not all, you can't lose -all- of your ability to focus. But it can feel like it.

You always have the ability to choose. How strong is the 'muscle' of your focus? How much control have you given away to your thoughts/emotions/body/surroundings? It's okay. You can flex your muscle. You can grow it. regain it. Take your control back. we love you and support you - cheering you on from where we are - and watch in loving anticipation of you 'regaining' who you truly are. (whether you feel you've ever had it before or not.)
