43 - Live in the Reality you Want to Live in
Live in the reality you want to live in.
This is a moment by moment thing. this is also how Neville Goddard's technique works. the idea is to live in the end state of it. In other words, moment to moment, live in that state of being. that feeling-state of how it feels in your body. What does the emotion of living in that state of being feel like in your body?
Get past the idea of feeling the excitement of it. Get to a point of imaging what it feels like to have had it for a bit. Sort of like that time you got a new toy (a laptop, phone, car, computer, hobby or craft item, etc) and the novelty of it has sort of worn off a little. You still really like and enjoy it, but it's not that same 'brand new exciting' feeling. Daydream for a while about having that desire fulfilled, feel how having it - not getting it, but having it - feels in the body, then live in that reality as best as possible.
The physical senses are sorta slow to catch up to internal being, since the external is a reflection of the internal and we have this concept of time that sorta slows things down a little. Then there's also the idea of beliefs about how things work - laws, people's behavior, rules, personal worth, that sort of thing - that slows things down too. work those into place and, the theory goes, whatever reality you're living inside gets reflected outside in short order.
So what does 'into place' mean?
Into place, in this context, means into alignment with what you believe is possible. To reference energy physics heard from Bashar, as far as I understand them, get all the 'dials' lined up so you get as clear a flow of energy as possible, the outside bends to match the inside. It doesn't go instantaneously - usually - because the idea of your reality shifting in any sort of absolutely major way suddenly - whether as though you blink and you're entire surroundings are different so that nothing is familiar anymore, or a gradual fade dissolve like a movie effect - would drive the vast majority of us mad.
I challenge that belief, but am willing to move on.
So, reality doesn't shift immediately (yet. I think we can get there, but yet). It allows our logic to dictate how fast things can move. Surface level might say 'Yea! I want it now!' Pieces not at conscious level might have a whole different slew of objections.
So, massage the dials into place by doing the introspection necessary to look into those things that make your body tighten up anywhere. That means being aware of your body. Noticing how it feels throughout the day. This means having to be in the moment as much as possible. With practice you can do this while moving around, yes. It's not just a meditation thing, but it takes practice.
Don't worry, doesn't take 20 years to get there either. Lol. I was on hard mode I think. XD
When starting out, it helps a lot to practice it as a sitting meditation (rather than a walking meditation). I like the idea of calling them a 'paused meditation' and a 'moving meditation' better, personally. The meditation could be as short as noticing you're having a reaction (maybe anxiety, maybe anger) in a conversation, taking a few seconds to close your eyes and take a deep breath to calm yourself. Doesn't remove the emotion or the preferences for the situation - at least not usually for me - but it does allow for better control over the body. The tremor of tension in the muscles can be relaxed quickly with practice. Some subjects might be harder, take a little longer, to recover from than others, but it gets easier with practice.
This is where the introspective work comes in. Facing those thoughts that come up when the memory of the emotional situation comes back up. No, it's not usually pleasant at first. I don't know that it ever gets to be actually pleasant (I'm not there lol) but it can get to a point of 'okay, this feeling sucks, but nice to know how much better that energy's gonna flow once I get these dials into place.'
That idea of 'what do I need to believe as true in order to have what I want?' and, the having of what is wanted is the state of being of having that thing. So, back to living in the reality that you want, moment by moment, until the external reflects the internal.
I want to call this physics. But I think right now it'd simply be called logical deduction based on theoretical physics, or something like that. If the physics offered by Bashar is correct, sounds accurate. I continue to experiment, as always. So far, the results are promising, the work challenging, but rewarding enough to entice me further onward.
If the things being said by our nonphysical and quasi-physical friends are anything to go by regarding the energetic side of things around here lately, I do believe that's helping the results along faster. But perhaps that's simply another permission slip I offer myself. Either way, I follow my passion where it leads me.
