Note 20 - If What You're Choosing Doesn't Come
if what you're choosing doesn't come:
if what you're choosing doesn't come and you're starting to have thoughts you don't like the feel of, know that what you thought you wanted doesn't accurately represent the frequency you're offering.
it could be that you're off-frequency and need to get closer to your target - as in, you might need to go into the concept of what you're asking for and see if any thoughts, ideas or emotions come to you that you don't enjoy the feel of. if any do, then those need to be addressed by deciding what it is about them that you don't like.
it could also be that you're so /on/-frequency that you've something even better, it just doesn't look like what you envisioned. now it's up to you to decide if that's okay with you - and go along waiting to see how you're surprised and delighted - or if you would rather have what was envisioned. if you're rather have what was envisioned, then repeat the process of thinking about the concept you wanted and noticing how it feels. think about what it is you like about that feeling. are there different pieces to how it feels? if yes, think about each one. notice what you like best.
your concept of what you want may change as you do these steps. that's okay. you're allowed to change what you want. time is lovingly abstract enough to not club you over the head with an elephant, metaphorically speaking (although perhaps literally too, given the subject being spoken about here). You have time to refine and decide what you want.
it can sound like we're making excused for how slow things take sometimes. how often have you truly faced what you want and all the thoughts that occur to you as you think about it? how often have you had an unpleasant-feeling thought or idea come up in response to thinking about what you wanted and immediately done your best to set the thought aside?
that's not choosing your reality. That's hiding from it.
This isn't about just thinking positively. Much love to them, but that's largely nonsense. There are some truths in it, but it's so misunderstood and misrepresented that it's better to just start over again.
This isn't about thinking positively. Thinking positive is to judge another thought as negative. "Negative" - or unpleasant-feeling - thoughts have been so wrongfully deemed as "bad" that it's almost humorous. There is no good or bad. There is pleasant and unpleasant, based on your preferences.
That can sound cruel and uncaring, but it is the truth. You get to choose what you prefer.
Fear makes people try to choose what -other- people do. They believe it's easier to try and control someone else - whether through laws or through force - than to leave it to the 'chance' that they get to choose their own reality. "Forgive them, Father, they know not what they do." We've spoken of the crucifixion before. We've spoken of the mass consciousness and its evolution before. This applies here.
